Just had the #1 (2 sandwiches + fries) and the portion sizes were great! One sandwich filled me up w/ the fries. Prices are not bad around here, and it felt nice to eat here. Would come back again!

We were greeted by a warm & friendly employee named Maria, the atmosphere is pretty fun. They have a lot of games you can play while you wait for your food. When the food came out it was hot and full of flavor The portion size are pretty big. I recommend this place!

Was working in the area when I saw the sign, it was a little hidden but I read hot chicken sign and thought I better try this place out. I came in and got the 2 sandwich meal (medium heat) the flavors were really good and it was a lot of food, literally two servings! Medium isn’t too spicy if you like spicy food. Their house sauce is really good! I came back and got the sandwich and tender but got it Spicy this time, that was perfect! Will definitely be going back when I’m in the area.

I was in the area for an appointment and my stomach told me it was about lunchtime, so I did what we do nowadays. I googled "food near me." It worked. I saw this Hot Chicken and was sold.
Made my way over to their shop, walked in and ordered a slider and a strip combo. The slider I got SOS (their highest heat) and the Cali Fire (2nd highest).
The order taker asked if I had been there before and after saying "no" she was kind enough to warn me that they have real heat, and it wasn't a low level like normal places.
Now me being an absolute weirdo pepper head, I told her not to worry and I would be fine.
Spoiler: I was fine.
Although these high levels do pack heat (I did sweat a little bit) and are far higher than a typical "ghost pepper" level at a chain place.
There are hotter things out there.
Now let me warn you, you had better be a pepper head. If you think pepperoni is spicy, or Sriracha is hot, best pick a low, and I mean low, level.
What I was very happy about was the taste. These have a great, fun heat to them, but they also taste great! Their slaw on the slider goes very well with the chicken. I'm not a fan of "chicken-fil-a" style sauces, but theirs is pretty good. The ranch is great, and their fries are also well done.
I really enjoyed my visit and will be back again for sure. I like a hot chicken place that can actually pull off heat without resorting to overzealous extracts, where heat for the sake of heat is the focus and not the flavor.
You will enjoy this place despite what level your heat (read pain) tolerance is!
They also have some games, like shuffleboard, Jenga, and giant Connect Four.

Needed to fill up before I hit the road. Stopped in here and the atmosphere was very inviting. Nice chicken sandwich/tender combo hit the spot. Full of flavor and crispiness. Prices on par with others. I recommend.

BEST FRIES - unanimously agreed in my family these are the best fries. Not a single fry is ever soggy or burned, each bite from start to finish is perfect.
CHICKEN is HOT! As advertised - and seasoning is perfectly done. DELICIOUS.
Beware, it’s spicy, so anything above mild really has a kick.
CUSTOMER SERVICE is excellent too.
Don’t miss out on this, location is tucked away but it’s a GEM. This is our spot now for all fried or spicy chicken meals.

Big shout out to Erica and the rest of the crew at the Roostarz. They have the most flavorful and spicy chicken in the game. The service and atmosphere they bring always has a way to uplift your day. Keep up the great up work and amazing food would recommend.

I am not a big fan of any type of chicken, I kept driving pass Roostarz Hot Chicken because of my preference of the type of food that I enjoy eating. My wife told me that we should try this place and we did. I ordered the sliders ( no heat ),and my wife ordered the rice-n-Roos medium heat. She told me the next she’ll order the low heat. She told me that the rice was delicious. The french fry’s was very delicious and so was the sliders. The service was polite and informative about this restaurant cooking their food in peanut oil. So the first thing that I ate was the french fry, I was only going to try just one, but I couldn’t help myself and ate almost half before I started eating the chicken slider. The slider was delicious, and very tasty. The atmosphere was calm and refreshing, and this place is kid friendly. There’s wall mounted TVs, there’s also free games to play. There’s lots of parking and it also has handicap parking with wheelchair accessible. There’s also outdoor tables.

Everytime we come to Sacramento, no matter what part we are in we ALWAYS make a pit stop at Roosters. Usually we will skip breakfast, no snacking so we will have plenty of room for their Mac and cheese bowl. I don't understand how something so basic can be jam packed with flavor. Medium spice will get the nasal passages open and running and I like it hot so....do with that knowledge, what you will. I beg you to please give it a try you will not be disappointed. We tried literally everything on the menu our first visit so we would know what we like in order. For us it the Mac first place, the loaded fries second and the sliders third. Again....it is what it is based on personal preference. But one thing is for sure it is worth the calories. Especially for us ladies when we need a little warm goodness on those uncomfortable days of the month. The atmosphere is clean, inviting, friendly service and all around great time everytime. Show them some love ❤️

This was our second visit to this spot, and it was just as enjoyable as the first. The restaurant is quite large, so I can't see it being crowded all the time. The chicken was delicious. Juicy and crispy. I ordered the medium, which was spicy but not quite enough for my taste. The fries were well-seasoned and crispy. The kale slaw complemented the chicken nicely, thanks to its sweet and bitter notes. The bread was also buttery and soft. I wish I had gotten some honey, which I forgot to grab, because it would have probably enhanced the meal.
